Presented by the Asian Pacific Islander Cultural Center for the 26th annual United States of Asian America Festival:

TRANSformASIANS is the first showcase of its kind in the Bay Area, exploring the relationship between queerness, gender fluidity, cultural [re]connection and diasporic healing amongst trans AAPI communities. Featuring 14 multidisciplinary, Asian, Native Hawaiian, Pacific Islander, and transgender/nonbinary/2S/māhū artists from the Bay Area, LA, and NYC—the show aims to uplift diverse narratives as well as encourage solidarity for AAPI struggles, both within our communities and our allies. As drag artists, trans people, and AAPI people continue to be targets of violence and hateful legislation, it’s more important than ever to be showing up and supporting our communities.
