Overdose Prevention Training

PLEASE REGISTER for this free event so we can prepare a test kit.
We invite you to join us for an Overdose Prevention Training by Kochina Rude sponsored by the LEATHER & LGBTQ Cultural District. The training will include how to recognize the signs of a fentanyl overdose and how to properly use Naloxone (Narcan). There will be also be training on how to use fentanyl test strips. Each participant will receive a kit with two doses of Narcan and a supply of test strips.The evening will include food and a special performance by Ryan Patrick Welsh, star of “Sex, Camp, Rock ‘n’ Roll”. Admission is free but seating is limited. Please register to join us.Fentanyl overdoses have been at critical levels in San Francisco in the last few years. You can be prepared to save a life.
