Manuel Caneri is THE STAR OF THE SHOW

Local theatre artist Manuel Caneri is finally taking center stage in his first ever solo act, Star of The Show! He will be joined on stage by the musical talents of Nathan Torrento on keyboard, Tommy Salami on drums and Diogo Zavadzki on guitar.

Manuel has been a fixture in local theatre for many years. Cutting his teeth on Peninsula stages, he eventually found his place in the San Francisco theatre world. Working everywhere from Ray of Light Theatre to Peaches Christ productions, Manuel had the great luck of falling in with D’arcy Drollinger’s merry band of performers and has had the great fortune to appear on the Oasis stage on several occasions. He has been seen in such shows as Above and Beyond the Valley of The Ultrashowgirls, Sqream and Bitch Slap as well as playing the villainous henchman Johnny The Gun in the big screen adaption of Shit and Champagne. As if that wasn’t enough, Manuel has been a proud member of San Francisco’s iconic Golden Girls Live cast for the last 13 years!

Manuel has worn many hats in the stage world, from actor to singer to emcee. And now he’s adding cabaret performer to the list! Showcasing a genre bending variety of songs, Star of The Show promises to be a joyous evening filled with music, musings and merriment!
