Kirk is a small-town guy with a dream: to move to the big city and sell mid-priced consumer goods in a high square footage, semi-industrial warehouse location. But when the love of his life moves to college (to study optometry and hearing aids!) and his landlord jacks up the rent on his warehouse, that dream starts to feel out of reach. 

Will Kirk survive the cut-throat world of 1980s capitalism? Will he open a store with the girl of his dreams? And can he ever outrun the haunting memories of that dancing hotdog?
