About the Sex Worker Film & Arts Festival:
Since its founding in 1999 by Carol Leigh, the Sex Worker Film and Arts Festival has provided a forum for sex worker film and video makers to screen and celebrate their work. Since then the festival has expanded to become a vibrant venue for performances, workshops, visual arts, political organizing, and skill sharing for the sex for her community. We recognize and honor prostitutes, dancers, porn performers, and all other sex workers, from diverse communities, who have been dynamic and integral members of arts community since time immemorial.
